well, i think i'll start off with an easy recipe. The art of the sandwich. I ate this a lot when I was at school because it tastes pretty darn good. it's good warm weather food. Eat with some ice cold lemonade and Sunchips.
creamy cranberry delight:
-2 slices of bread (preferrably some really good whole wheat with hazelnuts)
-low fat cream cheese (in place of mayo)
-craisins (lots of them)
-3 or so slices of turkey (as many different kinds as you want: smoked, oven roasted, etc.)
-3 or 4 slices of roma tomatoes
-lettuce
-eat!
how to make: it's a sandwich, figure it out.
also, this is an original recipe.

on the subject of bread...i have a good recipe. well...i had it in italy, so this is what i 'think' the recipe is...its pretty simple.
caprese pane: (tomato bread)
a piece (or however many you want to eat) of french or ciabatta type bread, sliced to the width of sandwhich bread, braised with butter and toasted.
before you toast your bread...dice up quite a bit of tomatoes (however much is enough for your bread...however many peices...to be piled with them) and sprinkle them with basil and olive oil and then pile them on the top of your toasted bread while they are still chilled.
a lovely snack or apetizer. :)
sounds really yummy. i would leave off the tomatoes for myself though. :)
